Jim Tredger, MLA for Mayo–Tatchun

From Stepping Stone, his Pelly River property, Jim sees opportunity for positive change everywhere.

Jim's experience as an educator and principal at Pelly Crossing was an education in itself in learning about the people and communities that make up the largest riding in Yukon.

Jim has served as president of both the Association of Yukon School Administrators and the Yukon Teachers Association. He has also sat on the boards of the Canadian Association of Principals, Yukon College, United Way Yukon and Food for Learning Yukon.

And as a longtime Yukon Quest volunteer, Stepping Stone is renowned for offering some of the best food to mushers braving the 1,000-mile trail.

Now retired from teaching, Jim applies his passion for Yukon's people and its environment by representing Yukoners' desire for a fairer and a more sustainable Yukon.
