COP 21 Yukon delegation send-off

This December, leaders from governments, the private sector and civil society will travel to Paris to attend COP 21 – one of the most important environmental conferences of our lifetimes. Climate change is happening right now.

And Yukon is warming; average winter temperatures in Yukon have increased 5°C over the past 50 years. Yukoners can see and feel the effects of climate change. It is time to make concrete commitments tied to meaningful action, today.

Yukon NDP leader Liz Hanson has invited Premier Darrell Pasloski, Sandy Silver and Council of Yukon First Nations Grand Chief Ruth Massie, who are all travelling to Paris as part of Yukon's COP 21 delegation, to attend a non-partisan public send-off to share ideas before they leave for Paris.

Join us to share your ideas with the delegation about how Yukon can play a role in fighting climate change.
